If City’s appeal is unsuccessful, I guess it’s 5th place in the PL into the Champions League next season?

Wow. Didn’t actually think UEFA would have the nerve to do this. Great to see such a strong message being sent to rich clubs trying to cheat their way to success!! What about PSG and others?

Manchester City banned from Champions League for two seasons https://t.co/IziCSMdz3K
If you want to understand why UEFA decided to exclude #ManchesterCity from the Champions League for the next two seasons, read this: #footballleaks https://t.co/6YIX2HfyALhttps://t.co/dSm9b9RCAehttps://t.co/qgsqQ37L0ahttps://t.co/fAifrjue0Shttps://t.co/vSC6XYdzG8

Source to me tells me that Manchester City could be set to go from bad to worse. Premier League set to deduct them 12 points from next season based on UEFA findings. #LFC

Pep Guardiola should stay with City for the next two seasons, that way, no one will ask him why hasn't he won the UCL...because he won't be participating in it. pic.twitter.com/0f8v0nIGYA

Surely Pep will walk away from Man City now. This is a sliding doors moment in his managerial career

Don't see why Guardiola would or should stay if that ban is upheld. He's almost at the normal time when he leaves a club, and this thwarts his and their plans completely. Plus, he doesn't really have a history with City where love/personal affection could be a factor.

Man City ban is seismic. Big statement by Uefa. Huge implications for club: will Guardiola stay or go, for a start? A lot harder to attract the best players without promise of CL. Massive test of their position in the game.

There's no way Pep Guardiola is hanging around at Man City if that Champions League ban sticks.

Huge breaking news - @ManCity banned from all UEFA competition in the 2021 and 2022 seasons for breaking financial rules. Fined 30 million euros, about £27m.

What does that mean for Pep Guardiola beyond the end of this season?
